Upholding Age-old Tradition
Nestled in the picturesque hills of Mango within the province of Cuneo lies the farm and vineyards of Elvio Tintero, situated in an area known as Località Gramella, characterized by its steep yet remarkable terrain.
For three generations, the Tintero family has cultivated grapevines on these hillsides, embodying a legacy symbolizing both familiarity and prestige. Today, Marco oversees the operations of the Tintero Company, following in the footsteps of his father, Elvio. Recognizing the potential of Moscato grapes and the advantageous positioning of their vineyards facing south and southwest, Elvio expanded the family’s wine production in the 1980s.
During this period, initiatives by the Controlled Denomination of Origin Association (D.O.C.) began to bear fruit, contributing to the development and safeguarding of Moscato. In 1993, Moscato attained the highest levels of protection and quality through D.O.C.G. recognition.
While upholding age-old traditions, the Tintero family remains dedicated to adapting to market trends and consumer preferences. Our focus lies on the quality of our products, emphasizing not only the sensory characteristics of wine but also preserving its inherent natural balance.
We continuously monitor ecosystem dynamics, employing agronomic practices that are both environmentally friendly and sustainable. Our team of specialized technicians ensures that our operations are harmonious with environmental preservation, prioritizing the care of natural spaces.
