Firriato is one of the historical Sicilian brands that focus on high quality wine production. Since 1984 the goal of the Gaetano family was to rediscover Sicialians native varieties of wines. Today Firriato emphasize excellent of territory, native grapes, cultural and natural heritage, embrace a new models of sustainability, environmental protection and organic vineyards. Firriato is proud of its six Sicilian estates: Baglio Sorìa, Baglio Guarini, Pianoro Cuddia and Dagala Borromeo located in the countryside of Trapani, in the West coast of Sicily. And then Calamoni in Favignana Island and Cavanera, on the North East slope of Etna Volcano. Two completely different terroir, coastal and mountain, expression of heroic viticulture. Firriato wines are exported all over the world. Traditional Sicilian varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Catarratto, Carricante, Zibibbo and Malvasia. They alsohave labels called Harmonium, Ribeca, Camelot, L’Ecrù, the best ambassadors of contemporary Sicilian wine production.
